This was 30-week project to fit out the new Anaerobic digestion plant. Full building scaffold handrail plus netting and towers throughout. This plant was built to cater for the new government incentive for food recycling in Sussex area and nationwide, LCM Group are helping to get the UK to reduce greenhouse gases by 2040 – in partnership with Biffa Waste services.

• Reinforced concrete slab; 725mm thick, reinforcement: high yield grade 500 deformed, type 2 bars, BS8666:2000; Concrete: ACEC class AC5 with strength class C40/50 as identified
• Supply and install hot dip galvanised steel columns grade S355, 203x133x30kgUB with baseplate 250x185x20 including 4 No. 18 phi holes, 6mm F.W.

INTERNAL WALLS

• Cast in place reinforced concrete walls; 5000mm high with reinforcement H16 bars @200mm rear face and H16 @100mm vertically and H10 @100mm horizontally front face as identified
• Cast in place reinforced concrete walls; 3000mm high with reinforcement H16 bars @200mm rear face and H16 @100mm vertically and H10 @100mm horizontally front face as identified

INTERNAL DOORS

• Supply and install personnel single doors: size 1000mm x 2100mm
• Supply and install personnel double doors: size 2000mm x 2500mm
• Supply and install new Double Fire shutter 2000mm x 2500mm

EXTERNAL DOORS

• Supply and install fast-acting vehicular access door: size 4000mm x 8300mm; colour: RAL 3001 (Signal red) x 3

MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS

• Fit new high level led lighting
• Fit high level e/m lights
• Fit new adoption to existing system addressable type M Fire alarm system
• Fit new power supplies to roller doors jet wash

HOSE REEL AND WASH DOWN STATION, GENERAL WORKS

• New high pressure hose reels
• New pipe work to wash down reels
• New duel use high pressure Jet wash unit
• New high power sump pumps/pipe work fitted to sump holes
• Fit out to mechanical area
• Fit new Handrails and entrance ramps to site
